Super Strength Espresso & Booster Tonic

Good grief! What is wrong with me? I'm absolutely exhausted and this is only my third week back at work. Is this how working, single parents feel? There's no other word for it; I'm knackered.

I'm thinking that I am seriously going to have to alter some of my habits if I am to survive. The first change will have to be made to my coffee; regular filter is going to be replaced with super, strength espresso. My daily multi-vitamin pill will need to be ditched in favour of a booster tonic that can guarantee repletion of energy levels. Late night Facebook trawling will have to be given the heave ho. Forget any kind of TV show that starts after 9pm. As for reading before bedtime, I doubt that I'd make it past the title. All socialising on a school night will definitely have to come with a warning label.

I'm desperately hoping that this overwhelming tiredness is just a transitional condition that will stabilise once my 'little grey cells' have become accustomed to being in regular use once again. If not, all I can say is; thank the Lord that my job entails plenty of holiday. So, the countdown is on; first holiday in T minus thirteen sleeps.
